What Does Your Donation Do?

Your support means everything to us. It allows us to ensure that no senior in our community goes hungry. By donating to Meals on Wheels Spokane, you are directly impacting the lives of those who rely on us for their daily meals. Your contribution enables us to continue providing food, friendship, and vital services to homebound seniors who would otherwise go without. Your generosity allows us to not only sustain our current programs, but also to expand and reach even more individuals in need. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that no senior is left behind.

Meals on Wheels Spokane relies solely on fundraisers, grants, and private donations for funding, as we do not receive any State, Federal, or United Way Funding. The program is tailored to cater to the nutritional and social needs of seniors. Our in-home visits offer unique opportunities to provide essential support and care for seniors in need, aiming to combat social isolation, address safety hazards, and ensure seniors receive proper nutrition. However, despite the importance of these services, Meals on Wheels Spokane remains significantly underfunded.

Ways to Give to Meals on Wheels Spokane

One-Time Donation

Just $5 provides a nourishing meal to a senior in need. For the cost of just one day in the hospital, or ten days in a nursing home, Meals on Wheels Spokane can care for a senior for an entire year. Monthly Giving

Monthly donors play a vital role in sustaining Meals on Wheels Spokane. Their ongoing support provides reliable funding to deliver meals, companionship, and essential services to our homebound neighbors. To become a monthly supporter, click below and select “Monthly Donation.”

    One meal for a hungry senior costs only $5. Meals on Wheels Spokane can feed one senior for an entire year for about the same cost as 1 day in the hospital, or 10 days in a nursing home. Every donation counts no matter how big or small. Click below to give your gift by credit/debit card.
