FAQ’s

• What is a Great Pumpkin Race?

  Simply put, The Great Pumpkin Race is an event like no other. Families and friends gather to race and watch wheeled pumpkins decorated by participants make their way toward the finish line.

• How much does it cost to register?

  Registration is completely free!

• Who can Race?

  Racers can be any age to participate! Racers will be organized by the following age groups:

  1-5
  6-10
  11-15
  16+
  Corporate Cup
  

• Race Rules

  1. Pumpkin must be under 12 pounds excluding wheels and chassis. Pumpkins may be hollowed out to meet weight restrictions.

  2. All manner of kid-appropriate dressed pumpkins are welcome.

  3. Pumpkins will be gravity-powered only. No motorized assists of any kind allowed.

  4. Pumpkins may not include flammable or hazardous materials on any kind.

  5. Arrive at check-in with your pumpkin racer on race day between 11-11:30am.
